wow it's late and i am tired so why am i still awake? man, i hate this mental-pause crap!! it's like going thru puberty again but without the benefits of knowing you'll be beautiful when your finished--instead i'll just be old!!

i look at other blogs a lot and can't figure out how to sit down and write so much at one sitting, i guess they use the edit button or else have it saved, i have got to figure this blog stuff out if i want to use it to help other women.

i guess that is what this piece will be titled, "beginnings of the helping woman". i started this blog to let out a great deal of frustration about some serious unfairness (which i will share when the time is right) and now i see this as it has the potential to help with more than what i first perceived.

okay, i collaged some cool jungle scene papers today, painted a few book covers, and basically set up for tomorrow, kids have been out of school for 18 days and tomorrow or rather later today, i will have my first free time since then, can't wait to pop out a few good backgrounds---YEAH!

peace all--
j

wow--it is only 18 days away from Christmas (yes i do capitalize the name even if i don't capitalize my own) and not only do i not have one thing picked out for my kids, friends, family but for heaven's sake, i haven't even picked out my own gift! what is this world coming too--when you don't even know what you want someone to give you?!

how many times in the last 40 odd (yes some have been quite odd) have i been asked, "what would you like for Christmas? always pat with the response--world peace, oh that is for the miss america contest, so okay, i would like a new set of paint brushes, a worktable that has more than 3 inches on each side after loading it with every color media and support that i can find, or perhaps a blackberry to keep an inventory of the pieces that i have worked on. okay--nah don't need any of that, the floor is a great work space when you throw a plastic tablecloth on it, the paint brushes will last for another couple of months, i have every subscription to every mag that has ANYTHING with art in it, so what do i want for this special day?

well i have 2 kids, 7 and 9 and i just found out about Mental-pause by experience so....

estroven, a nice bottle of chateau luc du pone, and a good book. yeah that sounds perfect.
